I have a new man in my life.
A new "little" man!
He came to my house about two months ago and
I cannot begin to describe the difference he has
made!
His story goes like this:
He was wandering down a dirt road, next to a
farm, about mid October.
He was about 2 or 3 months old at the time.
A farm lady found him, picked him up and
brought him home.
He was a friendly little guy and she loved him to
pieces but she already had two big dogs that
wanted to eat him for breakfast.
At the time, my oldest daughter had been visiting
the local humane society daily.
She wanted a puppy - but all they had were big
dogs that she wasn't prepared to look after.
One day in early November, the humane society
called her and asked if she was still interested in a
puppy.
She met the lady with this little dog.....

"Ryder" is his name.
My daughter took him right away. She wasn't
living at home at the time, so she kept him at her
place for the first little while.
She soon found out, within a couple weeks, that
when she was off to work, her 'roommate' was
abusing him.
Throwing him against the wall, shoving him into
closets and keeping him locked up. She threw
him out in 30 below weather one night and he
nearly froze to death.
Through it all, he kept his lovable nature. He is so
adorable and smart - he knows all the tricks, he's
potty trained, he loves to play and he listens well.
I moved my daughter back home and he now
lives here with us. He sleeps with me or my
daughter. He never barks, loves attention, and
it's really hard somedays to get anything done
because he's so much fun to play with.
He has made me smile and laugh on days that
were not worth getting out of bed for.
He has brought sunshine and fun back into my
life.
He has made me get out for walks when I was
just being a lump of sh** on the couch.

Normally I love the big dogs. Size matters when it
comes to dogs!!
But not this time.
Ryder is perfect for us and I wouldn't want any
other dog!!
