While the country south of me is celebrating Thanksgiving Day - we too are "Thankful" for a little victory where I come from.
This Sunday is our version of the Superbowl - something we call the "Grey Cup".
There is alot of fanfare and celebrating going on right now - maybe premature celebations.....but just getting to this point is enough for us to cheer about.
It's been 18 years since we won the Grey Cup.
And 10 years since we played in the Grey Cup.
It's our time!!

We finished the year 12-6-0
Our coach is brand new - he has never coached before!
But he has been nothing short of sensational!!
Although we struggled with the loss of Matt Dominguez in the last half of the season.....

This man has stepped up to the plate.....

......and has surprised us all!
A year ago he couldn't hang on to the ball to save his soul.
But this year he has caught 54 passes for 938 yards and seven touchdowns. He recorded the highest single game receiving total in Rider history when he caught 7 passes for 240 yards and 3 touchdowns in Hamilton.
